Your computer must have high-end hardware. There are games that require the best hardware. You need the best graphic cards, sound support, fast processing and big RAM. If you have a powerful computer, you may find it easier to get a testing job from home.
A video game tester resume is also important. You should be able to tell them that you have done testing assignments earlier. It will surely be difficult to get the games to test for the first time but after that, you will be experienced and find it easier to get such assignments.
